Life in New England is very difficult, especially if conformity is something that I look down upon. Everywhere I look I see change in the town of Boston, Massachusetts. People are being executed left and right for reasons that I cant comprehend. Our town is a puritan one and is supposedly honest. But over the years corruption has fallen upon the church and now they need a scapegoat for it. The scapegoat is unfortunately the lives of our fellow townspeople. This puritan town is so used to corruption that they don’t recognize that what they’re doing is even slightly unjust. My husband was one of the victims. He was an honest man that loved his reputation, and his name, more than life itself. He could only live with the truth and for that I admire him and do not regret any of his actions
